My background with guns My journey will guns began when I was a child and my Father and Grandfather would take me shooting. We would shoot all kinds of guns, and to be quite honest it was just a down right good time. It was fun shooting clay pigeons with a shot gun, and learning how to shoot at distance with a revolver.
The ugly truth(s)
It is my personal opinion that as Americans who live so far from the violence of this world that we often live in a fog. I also think this fog is very comfortable, and we like to exist within "out of sight out of mind". We oppose anything that makes us worry, anything that gives us stress, and anything which might make us confront our own mortality. We spend our entire lives trying to cheat death as long as possible, and in the end we think ignoring mortality will keep us alive longer.
